Metaspins vs Cloudbet 2026: No-KYC Convenience vs Sportsbook Depth
Metaspins skips KYC by default (rating 7.0). Cloudbet requires ID before your first deposit (rating 6.5). Both carry real trust findings — here's the honest comparison.

Metaspins (7.0) and Cloudbet (6.5) are not rated identically, and neither one is the “safe” pick between them — our July 2026 Trust & Reputation audit found real findings on both. Metaspins launched in 2022 around no-KYC play and an upfront 1 BTC deposit match. Cloudbet has run since 2013 with mandatory identity verification before your very first deposit and a sportsbook built for serious volume — but a decade of operation didn’t protect it from the lower Trust score of the two. Read the trust section below before choosing based on age or brand alone.

Trust and Track Record: Two Different Problems, Not One Clean Pick
This is the section to read first, because neither casino comes out of our July 2026 audit clean.
Cloudbet has run since 2013 — one of the oldest crypto casinos we review — but that longevity doesn’t translate into the better trust score here. AskGamblers’ complaint data shows a specific, repeated pattern: accounts sitting on large winning balances get frozen for a “betting integrity review” the company itself says can take up to six months, with no reason given until AskGamblers intervenes. Trustpilot independently confirms the same pattern, and Cloudbet’s own replies admit it as standard practice. Documented frozen amounts range from a few hundred dollars up to a $550,000 balance. Funds do tend to come back — but only after outside pressure. This is why Cloudbet’s Trust score sits at 3/10, the lower of the two.
Metaspins is newer (since 2022) and has its own real findings: Trustpilot rates it “Poor” at 2.3/5 with a recurring pattern of accounts closed and winnings confiscated over disputed “duplicate account” claims — several reviewers directly dispute ever operating a second account. Metaspins’ Trust score is 4/10 — still weak, but not as low as Cloudbet’s.
Neither “no-KYC by default” nor “over a decade in business” tells you anything about which of these two is more likely to pay out a large win without a fight. Read both full reviews — Metaspins and Cloudbet — before depositing anything you’d be upset to have tied up for weeks or months.
KYC: Discretionary vs Mandatory From Day One
Metaspins doesn’t require ID to register or play, and most withdrawals process without it. The casino reserves the right to request verification on large withdrawals or unusual activity, but there’s no published dollar figure that triggers it — it’s discretionary, the same category as most no-KYC casinos we review.
Cloudbet isn’t discretionary or threshold-based at all: live testing (2 August 2026) found the cashier gates every deposit — not just large ones — behind a basic identity-details form from the start. This contradicts earlier coverage (including an older version of this article) describing it as a $2,200 cumulative-deposit threshold; that framing no longer matches what the live product does.
Metaspins can still ask for documents case by case. Cloudbet now asks upfront, every time, before you can fund the account at all — a meaningfully bigger gap than “convenience vs sportsbook depth” implied before this finding.
Bonuses & Rakeback: Upfront Match vs Distributed Value
Metaspins leads with a 100% match up to 1 BTC on top of a 100% sports welcome bonus — a large one-time number, reported at 40x wagering with a 7-day expiry. Beyond that, every level pays a flat 3% rakeback, guaranteed, no wagering — with an optional double-or-nothing Coin Flip that can push it up to 120%, but forfeits the whole thing on a loss.
Cloudbet skips the big upfront match. Its $2,500 welcome package is built around 10% rakeback and daily cash drops — value distributed over time rather than handed over on day one. Better suited to regular players than one-time bonus hunters.
If you want the biggest number on signup day, Metaspins. If you’d rather the value keep coming without a wagering catch, Cloudbet’s ongoing structure is the more dependable one.
Sportsbook & Crypto Selection
Both run a sportsbook, but Cloudbet’s is built for volume specifically: high betting limits, low-margin odds by its own positioning, and a €1,000,000 maximum parlay payout — verified from its own ToS. Metaspins advertises sports coverage (“Any Sports, Anywhere”) without the same documented depth on limits or payout ceilings.
Crypto selection follows a similar pattern. Metaspins accepts 11 cryptocurrencies — BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, USDT, USDC, SOL, XRP, ADA, TRX, BNB. Cloudbet accepts 28, including DAI, ZEC, TON, and stablecoins like USDP and PAXG that Metaspins doesn’t support. If you hold anything outside Metaspins’ 11, Cloudbet is the only option between the two.
Metaspins also runs a dedicated Prediction Markets section — buy or sell shares on real-world event outcomes across politics, crypto, finance, and culture, settled in crypto. Cloudbet doesn’t offer anything comparable.
Geo-Availability: Not the Same Blocklist
Both casinos block the US, UK, Spain, France, the Netherlands, and a handful of other overlapping markets. The list splits meaningfully after that.
Cloudbet blocks Australia, Germany, Austria, Belgium, and Singapore — Metaspins doesn’t restrict any of them. If you’re in one of those five, Metaspins is the only one of the two that accepts you.
Metaspins blocks Russia and Ukraine — Cloudbet’s Terms don’t list either. That gap runs the other direction: players in Russia or Ukraine have Cloudbet as the option, not Metaspins.
Which Is Right for You?
Choose Metaspins if:
- You want the largest one-time welcome number — 100% up to 1 BTC
- A guaranteed no-wagering 3% rakeback baseline (with the option to gamble for up to 120%) matters more to you than a published KYC policy
- You’re in Australia, Germany, Austria, Belgium, or Singapore
- 11 cryptocurrencies covers what you hold
- You want to trade Prediction Markets on real-world events
- You’ve read the trust findings above and are comfortable with Metaspins’ specific pattern (Trust 4/10)
Choose Cloudbet if:
- You want to know your KYC trigger point in writing, not guess at discretion
- You want serious sportsbook limits and a documented parlay ceiling
- You hold a crypto outside Metaspins’ 11 — Cloudbet supports 28
- You’re in Russia or Ukraine
- You’ve read the trust findings above and are comfortable with Cloudbet’s specific pattern (Trust 3/10, the lower of the two)
The honest summary: this isn’t a “pick the trusted one” comparison — both carry real, different trust findings this round, and neither track record nor a no-KYC label tells you which is safer for a large balance. The real choice comes down to KYC transparency, bonus structure, and sportsbook/crypto depth — weigh the trust section above regardless of which one you lean toward.
