Gamdom (6.1) and Thunderpick (6.3) both built their reputation on esports betting, and both carry the exact same Trust score — 2/10 — after our audit found well-corroborated confiscation patterns on each platform’s AskGamblers and Trustpilot pages. This isn’t a “which one is safer” comparison. It’s a choice between two different ways of getting paid to play, and two very different geo-access profiles.
Gamdom skips the traditional welcome bonus entirely and instead rakes back 15% of your wagers from day one — but its Terms block 37 jurisdictions, including the US, the UK, and most of the EU. Thunderpick runs a conventional 100%-match deposit bonus with a genuinely low 10x wagering requirement on the sports side — but as of September 2026 its own Terms now explicitly exclude the US too, along with Curaçao and several Dutch-Caribbean territories.

Trust and Reputation: Same Score, Same Pattern, Different Sources
Neither of these is the “safe” pick — that’s the first thing to know before anything else below.
Gamdom shows strong surface scores — a 9.2 “Very High” Safety Index on Casino Guru and an improved AskGamblers editorial score of 7.2/10 (up from a low of 4.9/10 earlier in 2026), alongside an 8.9/10 player rating. Trustpilot has suspended Gamdom’s rating entirely for a guidelines breach. Despite the improved editorial scores, the underlying complaint pattern remains largely unchanged and is corroborated across all three sources: withdrawals lock for a “standard review” once a balance crosses a few thousand dollars, dragging on for 10-20+ days before a confiscation citing unspecified “irregularities” — including a $1.43M high-roller ban (now Resolved, funds released) and a separate $950,000 ban where payment was refused outright (Rejected). Thunderpick’s Trust score is also 2/10, but the shape of the finding is different. AskGamblers logs a 1/10 complaint-resolution rate — among the worst we’ve found in our entire audit — with large sums stuck in repeated KYC document cycles or confiscated citing vague ToS clauses that Thunderpick declines to specify even under direct questioning. Both scores land at 2/10, but for different reasons: Gamdom’s problem is a review process that drags on for weeks before an unexplained confiscation, while Thunderpick’s is a company that simply won’t name the clause it’s enforcing, even to a regulator-complaint player. Pick either one only with money you’re prepared to lose to a dispute.
Rewards: Rakeback From Day One vs a Bigger Match With Real Wagering
Gamdom doesn’t run a deposit-match welcome bonus at all. New players get a 15% boosted instant rakeback for their first 7 days (must be activated within 6 hours of signup), and from there the “Rewards 2.0” system stays rakeback-first at every tier: Instant/Weekly/Monthly rakeback plus a separate Cashback mechanic, both calculated per-bet rather than as a flat percentage, with a 24-rank Royalty ladder (Bronze 1 through Opal 3) unlocking better rates and up to a 25% rewards boost at the top. ⚠️ A blanket 1x wagering requirement applies to every deposit — not just bonus funds — before any withdrawal clears.
Thunderpick splits its welcome offer in two: a casino match of 100% up to €2,000 at 40x wagering (deposit + bonus combined, above-average for the size of the match), and a separate betting bonus of 100% up to €600 at 10x wagering — genuinely strong for a sportsbook offer. Beyond the welcome bonus, Thunderpick runs a public 11-rank XP ladder (Iron through GlobalElite) plus an invite-only VIP Club, but neither offers a percentage-based rakeback or cashback program.
The two models suit different players. Gamdom pays you back on every wager from the moment you register, with no minimum deposit threshold or wagering grind attached to the rakeback itself — but the trade-off is no headline bonus to advertise, and that blanket 1x deposit-wagering rule before you can withdraw anything. Thunderpick’s €2,000 match looks bigger on paper, but 40x wagering on the casino side means €160,000 in turnover to fully clear — most players won’t get there. If you’re placing sports bets specifically, Thunderpick’s 10x betting-bonus wagering is the single best number in this whole comparison.
Geo-Access: Both Now Block the US
Gamdom’s Terms name 37 restricted jurisdictions, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, and most of the rest of the EU, plus Australia. If you’re playing from any of these, Gamdom is off the table regardless of how the rest of this comparison reads.
Thunderpick used to be the more open of the two, but as of September 2026 its Terms explicitly exclude the US as well, alongside Curaçao and several Dutch-Caribbean territories — a reversal from its earlier no-named-restrictions position. UK and most of Western Europe remain unrestricted on Thunderpick’s side.
If you’re in the US, this section doesn’t decide the comparison the way it used to — neither casino accepts you. If you’re in the UK or most of Western Europe, Thunderpick remains the open option.
Esports and Games: Library Depth vs Esports Focus
Gamdom’s casino library runs to 8,000+ titles across slots, live dealer, table games, and game shows from 60+ providers, plus its own provably fair Originals (Crash, Roulette, Dice, HiLo, Plinko, Mines, Keno, Blackjack, and more). Its sportsbook covers soccer, basketball, baseball, and more, with esports coverage spanning CS2, League of Legends, Dota 2, and eTennis, plus horse racing.
Thunderpick runs a smaller 611-game casino library, but its esports coverage is deeper and more dedicated: CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Call of Duty, Rainbow Six, Fortnite, Overwatch, and more than 15 titles total, with markets and live in-play betting built around esports specifically rather than added to a generic sportsbook.
For raw casino variety, Gamdom’s library is roughly 13x the size. For esports depth specifically, Thunderpick’s narrower title list covers more games and treats esports as the platform’s core product rather than one betting category among many.
Payments
Gamdom: 11 cryptocurrencies — BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, USD1, BNB, LTC, TRX, XRP, DOGE, SOL — with small per-coin minimums (5 USDT/USDC, 0.0002 BTC). Withdrawals process in roughly 5 minutes to 1 hour, with no fixed monthly cap (very large withdrawals may be split into installments at Gamdom’s discretion). Fiat access is real, if indirect: bank deposits plus Pulse Giftcards ($5–$250 via PayPal, Visa, or Mastercard).
Thunderpick: also 11 cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, LTC, USDT, USDC, SOL, TRX, XRP, BNB, ADA, BCH), free of fees on every coin, with a €100,000/week cap across all currencies combined. No direct fiat balance — the cashier shows familiar card/wallet logos, but selecting one opens a card-to-crypto onramp that credits your crypto balance, not a separate fiat balance.
Gamdom’s fiat path is the more genuine one of the two — a real fiat deposit rail exists, even if withdrawals stay crypto/gift-card only. Thunderpick’s crypto withdrawals are faster in the best case (up to 5 minutes) but come with an explicit weekly cap that Gamdom doesn’t publish.
KYC Policy
Both platforms keep KYC discretionary rather than threshold-based. Gamdom’s Terms allow verification requests “especially when specific financial thresholds are met and/or if specific risk factors arise,” without publishing a dollar figure — though reaching KYC Level 2 is specifically required to join chat Rain events. Thunderpick’s Terms reserve verification “at our sole discretion,” also with no published threshold. Neither platform gives you a number to plan a withdrawal strategy around; most crypto depositors on either site won’t hit ID verification during ordinary play.
Licenses
Gamdom operates under an Anjouan licence (Moon Revolution Limitada, ALSI-152406043-FI4) — generally viewed as lighter-touch oversight than Curaçao. It’s been running since 2016, originally as a Counter-Strike skin-betting community before pivoting to crypto in 2020.
Thunderpick holds a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence (Paloma Media B.V., OGL/2024/677/0722, granted June 2025) and has operated since 2017.
